Nothing is uploaded, ever. The transcription engine and the language model both run locally, on Apple Silicon — the same machine the recordings live on. Ask a question about a two-hour meeting on a plane with WiFi off; it works exactly the same.
An archive, not a pile of files
Import MP3 recordings into a library it manages — organized by date, deduplicated, compressed with the system encoder so years of audio fit. Transcription runs as a queue you can pause and resume; on Apple Silicon it runs at tens of times real time.
Ask, don't scrub
Search across every file at once. Ask a question and get an answer with clickable timestamps that jump to the exact moment in the audio — citations, not summaries you have to trust. Long recordings switch automatically to retrieval so a three-hour file answers as readily as a three-minute one.
Honest by design
Auto-extracted tags are suggestions until you confirm them. Cleaned-up transcripts keep the original language and guard every number — anything the model cannot carry over verbatim is kept in the original and flagged, never silently dropped.
